Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag goes Caribbean
Assassin's Creed, Assassin's Creed Black Flag, Assassin's Creed IV, Play, Ubisoft
I don't think its been too long since Assassin's Creed III launched. Even just one DLC came out and we're still waiting for the rest. It seems Ubisoft is not keen on waiting for the AC3 to blend in the series as the next Assassin's Creed title has apparently been leaked.
This news I first saw at GameSpot which shared the primary source of news fond at Kotaku about what would possible be the next Assassin's Creed; Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. Given below is the leaked poster.
The title itself seems interesting. If you've guessed it correctly, the apparently leaked image of the poster too makes me smell seas. A hooded man who would obviously be the Assassin hero of the game is shown fighting a bunch of pirates aboard a ship hinting that it could be based on the seas mostly. However, even though the guy in the picture resembles Connor, it could not be him as Ubisoft previously confirmed they were working on the next title which would feature a new hero. So, bid adieu to Connor.
There's no wonder why Ubisoft would promote naval warfare in their next game. The naval warfare in Assassin's Creed III was the major thing that made the game a lot fun and even I would spend a lot of time playing all the naval missions as its plain fun to go out in the seas and be like a pirate riding through the storms and cannoning the enemy ships. However, the title too sounds more pirate-ish. It could be a sea story. And more clue came as Kotaku soon unveiled a second leak of what is supposed to be the back of the poster.
Aah, the Caribbean... Perfect! |
I don't think being in the seas more could help the next title unless Ubisoft has some surprise. It seems fairly different from the other stories as most of them were staged during a significant year which has something to do with history and I expected the next game to be based on some events too. But the title doesn't sound any such stuff to me.
Well, I'll miss Jack big time if this turns out to be a player. Anyway, let's wait till Ubisoft lets out the cat. With this leak, we maybe able to get more info on the title in the coming days. Meanwhile, tell me what are your thoughts on the game and what should Ubisoft do to really bring it upto the GOTY standards.
