Angry Birds gets a makeover; free for a limited period!

Happy news Windows Phone users! The Windows Phone Store had something special for all the users today and its simply a treat of delight!

Both Windows Phone 7 and Windows Phone 8 users can now enjoy a freshly updated and the complete package of the original Angry Birds from Rovio studios. That's right. And what's more -- it's free!

That's right. Free, but for a limited period. I actually expected a new game today but turns out its double delight for me. Firstly because the first port of Angry Birds was quite terrible. Not to mention, it was way too laggy and failed to give the original experience. Moreover, the first port was pretty limited and the complete Angry Birds package that was seen in iOS and Android was missing heavily.

Windows Phone 7 users were the ones who disappointed the most. Even though an update came slightly after, it was still not the one people really wanted. Now, Rovio realized that and finally came up with freshly updated apps for both Windows Phone 7 and Windows Phone 8.

For Windows Phone 7, its an updated Angry Birds from Rovio which is complete with all the levels and goodies. Sadly, its not an Xbox Live version but is still worth it and its free till May 15th.

Windows Phone 8 users will be having a double delight. Why? Because its a whole new exclusive Angry Birds app waiting for them in the Store. That's right, you can get rid of the current choppy Angry Birds and get the new exclusive version filled with real Angry Birds goodness  The game features all the levels and goodies from the original Angry Birds for iOS and Android. Moreover, Xbox Live is supported which means there are lot of achievements you can play and earn through the gameplay.
